No Drama, Just Llama

Since 2018, Llama has quietly lived in the shadow of its baby brother, Laban — later known as Bonafide Stories. That chapter brought new offices, big international projects, lasting friendships and collaborations. But it’s time for something new.

Llama Productions is now my main creative home. I’m Travis — and for reasons I don’t quite remember, I named the company Llama back in 2017. But it stuck. And over time, I’ve realized I share more with llamas than I thought:

They don’t do what they don’t want to do. They trust their instincts. They don’t follow the herd blindly.

That mindset shapes Llama Productions. I’m not here to churn out TikToks. I approach storytelling with a journalistic instinct — curious, visual, and honest. I believe in exploring new forms, but not chasing trends for the sake of it.

If you’re working on something meaningful — or want to create something bold together — I’d love to hear from you.

About

A person wearing a dark baseball cap and holding a camera, standing in a doorway. Another person in a plaid shirt and cap is partially visible in the foreground. A fire extinguisher sign is on the wall beside the doorway.

I’m Travis — a Danish-Aussie filmmaker, videojournalist, and curious observer. I run Llama Productions, where I combine a journalistic eye with a visual instinct to create stories that feel honest and human.

Over the years, I’ve worked with global organizations and small teams, on fast turnarounds and long-form projects. No matter the scale, I’m driven by the same thing: a good story, told well.

Llama is a flexible hub that adapts to each project. Depending on the needs, I bring in trusted collaborators to lift the story and bring it to life. That’s also why I write we throughout the site — most projects are collaborative by nature, and I believe the best work happens when ideas are shared and voices are heard.
